Live Lens becomes personal when James not only recognises what is visible, but shows which detail changes his answer.
First date. Three outfits. No neutral choice.
Show James the three options and tell him what is actually at stake tonight. He does not compare your body; he compares the decision each outfit is making for you.

Looking healthy does not automatically make breakfast useful.
James looks beyond individual ingredients to the portion, the combination and your actual question: will this keep me full after training?

Live Lens marks the details that make an identification plausible and explains not just what the object is called, but why it once existed.

Live Lens requires a compatible iPhone or iPad, camera permission and an internet connection for AI analysis. World-anchored markers use ARKit; LiDAR improves depth and room understanding but is not required for every Lens question.

James sees signals. Not certainties.
Live Lens can misread objects, text or spatial relationships. Value, nutrition, authenticity and causes remain estimates. AR measurements depend on perspective, surfaces and device sensors.

- A personal perspective from an image is never a judgement of somebody’s looks, health or worth.
Your room is not training material.
Aim Live Lens deliberately and keep faces, documents and other people’s private details out of frame. Profile and James memories are not required in Lens by default and are used only when you choose to bring that context into the moment.

The questions that matter before you try it.
Does Live Lens record video continuously?
No. Live Lens uses camera context for the current question; it is not a surveillance or continuous-recording feature. You can close the live view with one tap at any time.
Do AR notes really stay in the same place?
They can be found again in the same physical room when light and visible features are similar enough. Live Lens asks for a slow look around the room to relocate them, but a successful relocalisation cannot be guaranteed in every situation.
Can I rely on measurements, prices or authenticity?
Treat them as a first orientation. Perspective, light, condition, sensors and missing comparison data can alter the result. Confirm measurements and values independently before buying, selling or rebuilding anything.
How accurate are nutrition checks and object identification?
Without readable packaging and precise quantities, nutrition remains a rough visual estimate. An unfamiliar object can also be misidentified. Use the markers and follow-up questions to inspect the reasoning, and independently confirm important health, safety or purchase decisions.
Does Live Lens work without internet?
Most AI-assisted image analysis requires a connection. Without AR world tracking, Live Lens may fall back to a still image depending on the device; measurements and world-anchored clues are then unavailable.
